As I arrived, everyone’s face was a mask of intensity and concentration as the streets of Paradise unfolded in front of the team. Early observations suggest that the Jansen 88 Special is the car of choice with three of the team taking it’s floating capabilities onto the streets (and into the side of buildings).
They’re tackling the freeburn challenges as I type, and as it stands have currently completed 7 or 8 of them. Everyone is in good spirits at this early stage, and each competitor has taken their first short pitstop for a breath of fresh (and ridiculously cold) Scottish air.
It’s good to see both non-participating team members and forum members have headed to the event to lend their support and pick up a few bargains in our fantastic sale of gaming, well, stuff. The Rook has even managed to pick up a genuine limited edition signed faceplate for his guitar.
This time tomorrow that could be worth a small fortune!!
Stay tuned for more updates as the event progresses – and don’t forget that you can join in the fun and games by adding the team’s gamertags.

Hey guys! Just posted a friend request to Dan (Quaid Rayn)! Hope to drop in later today and say hi! I’m just across the waters in Ireland, so I’ll be around at some point I hope. Best of luck with the challenge.

They are crashing lots – have no fear of that.

Darach don’t be jealous, all the money is going to charity after all, and if you want the faceplate that bad, you could always buy it off of me, for say £755.

That’s a bargain, Skill. An absolute steal.
