You’ll have noticed from our articles and podcasts that the writers here at Ready Up are a pretty diverse bunch, in terms of almost everything. We all have wildly varying opinions, different life experiences and, sadly, we all live in different places. We’ve got Ready Up-pers all across England, Wales and Scotland, and just because he had to be different, we even have Danny out in Japan.
This means we don’t get together as often as we’d like to, but damn it, we still make the effort sometimes. The weekend starting Friday 15 April is one of these times, where (almost all) Ready Up staff members are getting together for some face to face discussions about the future of the site. Of course, it’s not all work, work, work, though, so we’ll be taking the opportunity to have some quality time chatting and drinking together. And that, dear reader, is where you come in.
Ready Up wouldn’t be Ready Up without the people who read the site, post on the forums, and of course, game with us. We’d love to get together with you all and have a damn good laugh. So, if you can beg, borrow or steal a ticket into London that weekend, come and join us on the Friday and Saturday nights out in London.
Friday night we will be out somewhere in the West End of London, so if you’d like to come that night, we suggest you follow @readyup on Twitter at http://twitter.com/readyup, for further location details.
On Saturday night we’ll be teaming up with the friendly people of DS:London and their meet, so if you also fancy playing some multiplayer DS, don’t forget your console. The Saturday night meet will be held at the The Angel in the Fields pub, the DS:London guys start early at 3pm but we’ll be rocking up about 7pm.
Sorry to exclude you under-18s, but obviously this is a pub meet up so unfortunately it has to be that way. For everyone else, we hope you’re looking forward to it as much as we are. Come and meet the team – and who knows, you may even get to hear Walter’s sweet karaoke voice.
