Every single downloadable map for Naughty Dogs Uncharted 3 is now free. Yes, what was previously paid downloadable content is now being given away, all in celebration of the 2nd anniversary of the third Uncharted game. As an added bonus there is even a brand new map called “Dry Docks” for you to get you kill on with. At this point there isn’t really much left to say about the Uncharted games, and to be honest you already knew whether or not you would be excited about this news from the headline, didn’t you?
Me? I’ve sunk more hours than I care to admit into the Uncharted MP, but never bought any of the map packs for number 3, so being able to now get them all for free is pretty good news (and is a perfect excuse to get back into the fray). Couple this with the fact that Uncharted 3’s multiplayer went free to play a while back and it wouldn’t be beyond belief to suddenly see a surge of players on the servers. Greatness from small beginnings after all.
