Harrison claims Xbox One will gain in power over time thanks to the Cloud

In an interview with MCV Mr. Phil Harrison spoke about the power of the Cloud and how it can bring new features and abilities to the Xbox One as time goes on.

Not only that but it can supposedly help improve the console’s performance as the tech improves, essentially outsourcing some of the work the CPU would usually be doing.

Harrison used this as a basis for the Xbox One console having an extended lifetime due to its ability to grow in performance over time.

An interesting, and possibly even exciting, thought. Let’s remember though, that this is the same guy who tried to convince concerned gamers that the E3 2005 Killzone 2 trailer was the real deal.

It may well be true, all I’m saying is to take it with a grain of salt.

I’m not an electrician so…how can servers make the Xbox One more powerful? There is only a finite amount of power in the system.
