Borderlands 2’s Psycho class finally revealed. Meet ‘Krieg’

This week Gearbox Studios finally revealed the much hyped ‘Psycho’ class coming to Borderlands 2. Krieg is the newest downloadable playable character for Borderlands 2, and will cost 800 Microsoft Points or your preferred platform’s equivalent.

Krieg’s new Psycho class is entirely built around the idea that staying still, taking cover, or doing anything other than slaughtering enemies without mercy is a detriment to the player. The more enemies you kill, and the faster you can do it, the more powerful and useful Krieg becomes.

This new character class will not be included in the Borderlands 2 Season Pass, much like the Mechromancer wasn’t. However, the Mechromancer was available for free if you pre-ordered the game, whereas Krieg will only be available via purchase.

Krieg the Psycho will be release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on May 14th.

Revision3 recently sat down with Paul Hellquist, Gearbox Creative Director, to show-off Krieg and his new skill-sets.
