Defiance has managed to accumulate 1 million registered players for the Defiance online open world massively multiplayer game.
In the month since Defiance launched, players have killed more than 500 million hellbugs, driven 50 million miles, and battled 1 million Arkfalls on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
Defiance is a science fiction transmedia collaboration between Trion Worlds and SyFy. Defiance launched on April 2 on PC, PS3 and Xbox, and is a tie in with the Syfy Network’s Defiance series. The game entered at 3 on the UK software chart, while the TV show was the Syfy network’s most-watched scripted premiere since 2006.
