Do you remember the PS Vita? It is that beautiful little Sony machine that is wonderfully crafted, brilliantly stylised, and quite expensive with a tragically small library of games. That library though is set to grow ever so slightly with the release of the Jak & Daxter Collection, which Sony announced would be coming to the platform this June.
The Jak & Daxter Collection will include the entire original trilogy – Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3 – and will contain the glorious HD remastered versions like the Collection’s PlayStation 3 counter-part that was released in 2012. There is currently no word yet on whether or not buyers of the PlayStation 3 version will be given a cross-platform purchase, but the PS Vita title will have its own array of trophies so the outlook at the moment points towards a no.
Sony have announced it will launch at $29.99 in North America, meaning it will likely debut at £19.99 in the UK assuming current pricing trends continue in June.
