Tomb Raider Definitive Edition coming on new-gen consoles

Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will be getting the critically acclaimed Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider it has been confirmed on the game’s official Tumblr.

The Definitive Edition will have graphical improvements and a tweaked version of Lara’s face for the new-gen platforms. This new version will also include the PC-only ‘next-fen hair’ which was made possible via AMD’s TressFX technology.

Square Enix has detailed the content of this new edition:

– the pre-order bonus tomb, The Tomb of the Lost Adventurer

– 6 extra Lara outfits

– digital copies of the Dark Horse comic Tomb Raider: The Beginning, Brady Games’ art book Tomb Raider: The Art of Survival, Zachary Levi’s The Final Hours of Tomb Raider documentary series

– some multiplayer add-ons: eight DLC maps, six weapons and four characters

The Xbox One version will include Kinect voice controls and on PlayStation 4, the control will light up when using the torch.

Tomb Raider Definitive Edition will launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on28th January 2014 in North America and 31st January 2014 in Europe.
