It’s been made known via a post on, the ARMA 3 developer, Bohemia Interactive’s website that the game’s singleplayer component will not be available when the game hits shelves and download services later on in the year.
According to the post the singleplayer component will be released in three episodic parts after the game’s initial release with the first part dropping just four weeks later. It will not cost you any extra money, so don’t worry!
The decision to get the game out before the singleplayer is done was apparently to atone for the high workload suffered by the dev team. As both the Alpha and Beta for the game were made purchasable on Steam (transforming into a full purchase upon release) devs have had to continuously support them while working on the full game at the same time.
