The PlayStation webstore now allows you to auto-download on your PS3, meaning you can purchase the games and movies you’d like while you are away from home and then start downloading them as soon as you turn on your PS3.
Your console won’t switch on and begin downloading immediately but if you’re a PlayStation Plus member, you can set your console to switch on and automatically download any updates or content at a specified time.
You can also use remote play to control your PS3, which could be another way to start any downloads you have queued up. This new auto-download feature also applies to the PS Vita.
