Assassins Creed 2 news!

As recently posted by yours truly, one of the exciting sequels coming to our consoles and PCs soon is Assassins Creed 2. Up until now little has been disclosed, with teasers and concept art being the main items to appear, but all that is about to change. After a flood of articles on Bioshock 2 in last month’s magazines, it is finally time for the guys at Ubisoft to show what’s in store for us in Assassins Creed 2. Everything you need to get you longing for launch date is now exposed in a variety of magazines this month, with each including new screenshots, interviews with developers and much more, so I don’t know about you but I’m off down the shop!

    Funny thing about all this.

    The most recent issue of Game Informer magazine had a cover story on Assassin’s Creed II. In fact, three of the four covers have an image similar to the one Game Informer used.

    And last month’s Game Informer also had a cover story on Bioshock 2. Same as you guys.

    Quite a coincedence, don’t you think?

    I don’t think it’s a *huge* coincidence that print mags on different sides of the ocean get the same story from the same publisher in the same month. I’d be prepared to bet that it is, in fact, not a coincidence at all.

    My mistake, the gold writing made it hard to notice! Annoyingly, I saw that in the shops today, and hoped nobody would pick up on my mistake…

    so this is a post claiming to have AC2 news but is really about upcoming news in printed format and therefore not news at all?

    clever marketing.
