Gaming on the go

Aren’t our modern day mobile phones handy? Only a dial away from our friends, music to suit your mood, quick snappers for Kodak moments, keeping schedules & calender dates, logging us into our e-mails at any time, timing our cooking and many other various functions our little gadget companions do so well!

Above all the handsets give us “gaming on the go” helping us get through times of waiting, travelling and perhaps keeping little nieces and nephews occupied from reigning terror in public.

Now the mobile phone isn’t really the first thought that comes to mind on the topic of gaming but heck at least mobiles’ meet that certain admiration of all things bright and digital, it’s all stored to memory and there’s no hassle of cartridges and UMD’s.

A few titles I’ve enjoyed playing:

Mobiles can do all that?! I’m so out of the loop… I did write something elsewhere about the N-Gage 2 where I wondered who it would appeal to what with the DS and PSP being around. You’ve given me food for thought there, Shaz

I’ve never turned to mobile gaming (except that one time I bought Doom RPG which turned out to be poo) because I’ve always had a Nintendo DS and a PSP in my bag for the long trek to college (I travel about 5 hours a day). Saying that, I never really use my phone anyways and I’m not exactly phone savvy. Stick to what you know!

Don’t forget they can be used to see in the dark! So useful!

The only failing in phone gaming for me is the control system, my big muckle fingers and thumbs just smudge many keys together. I love my phone camera though and take thousands of pics!
