While cruising through the galaxy with his family, Opoona crash lands on Planet Landroll after his spaceship is involved in a mysterious accident. Separated from his family, Opoona is forced to live alone. On the planet, Opoona must find a job, search for his siblings, and defend himself and the people of Landroll against creatures known as the Dark Rogues. Luckily for Opoona, he is the descendant of a long line of warriors known as the Cosmo Guards. Opoona’s adventure begins as he struggles to establish a new life and reunite his family.

Name: Lesha

Age: 9

What did you like about Opoona?

Lesha: I liked the part where we had to fly into space, then Opoona crashed into Earth and he was dizzy, and when he had to fight bad guys.

Did you have a favourite character?

Lesha: Opoona, because he’s funny and he’s cute

What was the best bit about the game?

Lesha: No best bit but it was all good.

What was the worst bit about the game?

Lesha: It bugged me a bit that I had to do loads of reading and it was tricky sometimes.

How much fun was this game?

Lesha: Quite fun

Parents Comments: Lesha enjoyed Opoona but got stuck sometimes due to not following the mission instructions properly. It wasn’t what I expected, it’s not like most other kids games you can buy lately, it seems to require more thinking, which is a good thing of course.

Summary
Opoona could be an ideal introduction to RPG games. It's extremely cutesy and adorable and probably a bit too sickly sweet for any one older than primary school age. The gameplay is simple and some of the visuals are absolutely beautiful. The side missions can get a bit boring though and with no narration at all in the game it may cause kids to lose interest in what is otherwise an enjoyable experience.
