Susan has been known to pore endlessly over the cute, the quirky and the cheerful. If a game is brightly coloured, features upbeat music and has a squishy character of some kind, it's highly likely she's fallen in love and already either checked to see if plushies are available or dreamed of constructing a huggable equivalent out of yarn. Ready Up's resident knitter, she quite cheerfully spends time between games (or during cut scenes) making a Pikmin hat or planning out a blanket showing a pixel Mario scene. It's not just Nintendo games that catch her like a Pokémon, although she has been a big fan since an early friendship with the NES. Susan also enjoys games with good stories and interesting characters (Mass Effect, Ace Attorney), rhythm action games (especially the crazy kind that involve ridiculous props and control mechanisms) and dance games that award points for enthusiasm.
