Pharmakon Review

Don’t let the graphics fool you – Stewart highly recommends Pharmakon by Visumeca.

Pharmakon is a tactical puzzle battling game. You have control of a drone with various parts, and you’re trying to fight off monsters infesting your faction.

As the game progresses, you will undoubtedly take damage, and you’ll need to think carefully about how you structure the parts, trying to slot them in around the damaged spaces. To further complicate things, the game has an elements system with no single, strong element – each one has its own strengths and weaknesses which adds a further layer of tactical thinking.

That’s not all there is to this game, though. There are multiple other systems at work that stack to form a thoroughly interesting puzzle game that completely blew Stewart away.
