E3 Roundup: Nintendo

We finally make it to the end of a surprisingly hectic E3, as Scott, Stewart and Cameron pick apart Nintendo’s E3 conference, full of Switch announcements, hats on cars, buckets of whimsy, other hats which possess people and too many Amiibo for Scott to afford.

Super Mario Odyssey’s sheer inventiveness and insanity make a strong case for game of the show, while even just the mention of Metroid Prime 4 was enough to get other folks excited. Other highlights include Rocket League, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, confirmation of a core Pokémon title for the Switch, footage of the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass, a four-player co-op Kirby, another adorable Yoshi title and finally Metroid: Samus Returns (a remake of Metroid 2), which was announced post-show.
