Stumped – The Ultimate Bucket List…Kind Of

Hiya gang!

It’s 2015, which means another fun filled year of gaming releases and ‘geek’ outings.

Last year was pretty bad for me geek wise. Years ago, I used to buy a new game on average every 3 months and attend EuroGamer Expo without fail. 2014 was a total and utter flop. I mean, yeah I did manage to attend both the summer and winter Hyper Japan events, which was totes amazeballs. Surrounding myself with the amazing and oh so tasty Japanese culture and eccentrics was just a blast. I also made more use of my iPhone by playing a load of games, which I was able to share with you lovely people. But I think this year, I can do just that little bit more to get my geeky back. Plus it helps to tackle one of my New Year Resolutions at the same time… so huzzah!

So here’s a mini list of the games I want to buy and events I will endeavour attend.

Games:

Call Of Duty: Advance Warfare – Now as much as I loved watching it being played on the Xbox One, for now, I’ll be purchasing this bad boy for my 360.

Destiny – I actually can’t remember the last game I bought for my Playstation 3, as I kinda have a love/hate relationship with my PS. I mainly buy Blurays for it which is fab, but I must be nicer to it. So while I’ll get COD for my 360, my PS3 will have Destiny.

The Legend of Zelda – Oh how I love Zelda games. I’m actually re-playing Skyward Sword on my Wii, which is great. Now, I know any upcoming Zelda games for this year will pop up on the Wii U. So as I wait impatiently for more news about Zelda, I’ll get saving for a Wii U.

Events:

The Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddess – Master Quest Orchestra (April) I have always, ALWAYS wanted to go and see the Zelda orchestra and I always miss the bugger. But once I found out that the orchestra would be coming to London, I was beyond determined to get me some tickets. After hours of trying (and failing) to buy tickets online and then resulting in getting them over the phone, I got one! If you managed to snag a ticket too, make sure you say ‘hello’ when you see me.

MCM Expo Comicon (May – dressed as Chun Li) Now this has been a long ass time coming, believe me. It was an event that my mate and I have always said we’d go to. But the catch was that we’d go dressed up as a character. Now we both own costumes, we have no excuses.

EuroGamer Expo (September) It’s been… about two years since I last went to EuroGamer, which is just ridiculous, I know. So after a careful Google search, it looks like EuroGamer is going to be in my hometown of Birmingham *yay*. So I get to not only geek out, but I can visit my family too… awww!

I’m sure there are a ton of other games and events that I will think of as soon as I finish this blog, but I am sure I will regale you with that another time.
