Stumped – With Added E3

And hello one and all, and welcome to another helping of me, Stumped and my random gaming musings.

This Stumped is brought to you by the letter ‘E’, ‘R’ and ‘M’ as today’s edition is a little different from my normal blogs. Today I’m gonna give you my much anticipated opinion on this years ‘E’3, then I’ll round it up my normal ‘R’andom ‘M’obile game review. See what I did there?! Anyway, enjoy!

E3 – Do I care?

Ok now I know E3 would of happened like a bazillion years ago by the time you read my opinion on the event, but you know what, I don’t give an unshaved baboon’s slapped arse. Whether you like it or not, here’s my take. Which in all honesty, is pretty narrow and short. Now I don’t know if it’s because I didn’t get a chance to watch E3 live this year or because I’d rather miss the potential over hype and excitement I get after watching this year’s highly anticipated game, to only feel the wet fart of disappointment punch me in the face when I do actually play it; these days I actually wait for E3 to end just so I can look out for the one game I can guarantee will never let me down: Zelda. The only game I know I can go out and buy and not be disappointed by it all. So far, not much has been said but there is a snazzy trailer for it which you can check out right here

Flick Soccer – Brazil

Here is little secret for you. I hate sports games. I don’t care for them, I don’t even see the point of them. I can watch someone play them, I may even be convinced to give it a shot, but beyond that, I’d rather not. So for me to be reviewing such a game is a mega rare treat. but I thought, hey, it’s the World Cup, England have failed miserably (as per usual) why not do something to cheer up my loyal mini Stumpers?

Ok, so Flick Soccer, as you could probably guess, is all about flicking the football into the goal. With five different modes, such as testing your precision, how many goals you can get in a certain time limit and a challenge mode, Flick Soccer does keep you busy. There is a sixth mode which you can unlock called Beach Babes which I’m not too sure how you unlock, but if I figure it out, I’ll let you know.

With a detailed tutorial and easy controls, Flick Soccer was really straight forward to play, which in turn, made my experience much more enjoyable then I thought it would be. By having different modes, it gave me the option to do something else when I felt bored, which oddly enough I didn’t. I genuinely liked playing the game and actually thought it was alright. Now, could this be the turning point where I finally realise that sports games need to be in my life? Don’t be stupid. But let’s say, I’m a teeny, tiny bit more open to the idea.

And there’s your Stumped. Sweet and to the point. Until next time my mini Stumpers, keep on puzzlin’!
