Isn’t it funny how things change? How things that once seemed easy become an uphill struggle? Amazingly, for me, coming up with new musings was becoming a strain. It was harder to wax lyrical about games with genuine passion. So. Time for a different approach. Time to let you all in on my latest passion. LEGO. We’ve all touched some, and even more of us will have played with some. However, few adults will openly admit to an interest in these interlocking bricks. These days you can buy sets based on many licensed products, from films to cartoons, but some of the greatest pleasures to be had are freestyling with these little bricks.

Don't stand on them.
Don’t stand on them.

With my new posts I’m going to be putting up pictures of well-known gaming icons made entirely out of as little LEGO as is humanly possible. This style of building is often called “micro building,” and deciding how to represent what you are aiming to build takes a lot of thought. The main thing is, I’m not going to tell you who the characters are, if I have built them well enough you should instantly recognise who they are meant to be. The rest is up to your own perception. I do hope you will all enjoy my ongoing series and it would be great if it spurred a few of you to try this out yourself. So, without further ado, here is my first microcosm. Enjoy:
