After its VGX showing you’d be forgiven for thinking that Dying Light is just Dead Island with Brink’s terrain traversal thrown in but this latest video released by the developers suggests otherwise.
In this gameplay walkthrough we’re shown the way that zombie behaviour changes with the game’s day/night cycle. Much like the zombies of Dead Rising they become far more aggressive and effective in tracking you down.
Zombies will begin to run, jump and climb after you once the sun has set so you’ll need to have your wits about you if you intend on simply running away.
In this wee see the logical conclusion to the debate over whether it’s best to use running zombies or slow zombies: just use both.
