Star Command, which began life as a Kickstarter project, gained popularity earlier this year for promising (and mostly delivering) a Star Trek-like crew management experience on the go. The only problem was that it was limited to the iOS platform.
That’s not longer an issue as the latest Humble Mobile Bundle includes Star Command and five other solid Android titles, offered through the usual pay-what-you-like model. As always, you can choose how to divvy up your donation between the developers, charities (Child’s Play and the ESF) and the Humble Bundle staff.
Among the other games included is Punch Quest, an interesting twist on the “endless runner” genre which Laura and the Ready Up Juniors considered to be a bit of a knock-out last year.
As with most Humble Bundles, beating the average donation (currently $4.52) will entitle you to more games, including Ravensword: Shadowlands (some sort of expansive, 3D RPG), as well as the recent Android port of Carmageddon, 1997’s arcade-style, zombie-smooshing racer.
The latest Humble Mobile Bundle (as well as this week’s publisher sale, covering Kalypso Media’s Tropico output) can be found here.
