New Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remastered Footage at TGS

Announced two years ago at TGS 2011, the home console and handheld remasters of Final Fantasy X and its direct sequel Final Fantasy X-2 will finally be available this holiday season.

The HD update will not only run at a much higher resolution than the original versions (which made their PS2 debut way back in 2001/2003), but will also feature higher-polygon character models and cleaner textures.

Additionally, the HD remaster will include 60 re-arranged BGM tracks for Final Fantasy X, with Square Enix releasing a comparison of the battle themes last month.

The version of Final Fantasy X included in the HD remaster is based on Final Fantasy X International, which was never released in Europe or USA, and most notably includes a larger sphere grid and optional bosses.
