Stumped – Bitches Be Runnin’

Hello again, my puzzle enthusiasts! It’s time for another intoxicating mouthful of Stumped goodness. Now, I gotta admit, like many of the Ready Up team, I have been hooked, dare I say addicted, by Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It’s even gotten to the point that I’m dreaming of Bells. But when I wasn’t bashing rocks to get the tricky 8,000 Bell bag, I was up for some high-octane puzzle games… well, games which involve running away from or to something. As I like to call it: Bitches Be Runnin’. So get ready to tap, tilt, and flick with the following games.

Robot Unicorn Attack 2 – iPhone / Android / PC

As the title explains, you’re a robotic unicorn trying to battle the forces of Team Inferno. This time you get to gallop majestically across the screen as you jump and dash your way through star walls, collecting fairies and wishes. With each run you’re working towards unlocking cool add-ons like wings and a wish vacuum. Once you’ve unlocked rank 7 you get to join in the online battle of Team Rainbow.

Angry Gran Run – iPhone / Android / PC

Now this is one super angry gran. Not only does the game begin with her escaping the angry asylum, in Angry Gran Run she gets to fly kick hooded punks in the face. I’m guessing she was upset by all the noise they were making. The aim of this game is to get as far away from the asylum before you get caught. Oh and also make sure you avoid the giant fish that likes to obstruct the road. Silly fish.

Survival Run with Bear Grylls – iPhone / Android / PC

Although the gameplay is very similar to others reviewed, I have to admit that I couldn’t help myself from gasping. You dodge crocodiles and hungry-looking bears, and jump gaps on this wild adventure. What I thought was a really nice touch was throughout the game, was that you get to hear Bear Grylls make random comments and even the occasional ‘whoop’. You can collect coins which you can use to purchase Survival Gear like hard hats and hiking boots to help make your run that little bit easier.

Despicable Me: Minion Rush – iPhone / Android

Remember the cool minions from Despicable Me? Well you get to play as Dave who dreams of winning Minion of the Week. To achieve such accolades you gotta run for it. Your score gets calculated by the distance you run and how many bananas you can collect. The only thing Dave has to look out for while running is the odd flying rocket, acid spill, and the occasional broken down car. The game also gives you the opportunity to send challenges to your mates and also have boss battles.
