Splinter Cell Blacklist Details Spies Vs Mercs Multiplayer

Splinter Cell might mainly be known for its single player campaigns, but ever since Pandora Tomorrow the multiplayer has been a popular prospect. Unfortunately, however, it was missing from Conviction, leaving us instead with a 1 on 1 spy vs spy match up that failed to satiate. Now, though, proper spies versus mercs multiplayer is returning in Blacklist. Two developer commentaries have been released to show off this (hopefully) triumphant return.

As can be seen below, the spies play a standard game of Splinter Cell, with all the acrobatic third person action stealth that fans have come to expect while wearing the goggles while the mercs play a tactical first person shooter more akin to another Ubisoft-Tom Clancy collaboration – Rainbow Six.

Here’s hoping Blacklist manages to capture the magic from prior instalments, both in the single and multiplayer, like the videos released thus far dare us to believe.
