It was only a mere week ago that Microsoft crushed the dreams of gamers the world over. It seemed that the next generation was slowly slipping through our fingers. Controversial decisions about software ownership had nailed the coffin shut for gamers. Our resident muse, Martin, was ready to give up on games completely. He sensed the end was near for a, nigh on, lifelong hobby.
But then Microsoft did what every large corporation does when the share prices plummet quicker than Leisure Suit Larry’s trousers. They backtracked and dug themselves out of a hole like a mole on steroids. Was it enough, or was it too little too late?
