Welcome back to our feature where we aim to outline the new releases that that our readers might be interested in!
The more eagle-eyed readers among you will notice that that Incoming! has been on a little break, mainly because practically nothing came out at the end of December. But with the holidays over and a new year under our belt, it’s time to start the cycle all over again.
The big story this month is probably the multi-platform release of DmC: Devil May Cry, landing on the 15th on consoles and on the 25th on the PC. Coverage of the game has been fairly extensive here at Ready Up, with Dan providing a positive text and video preview last month. I’m certainly excited to see how it turns out, especially with its development driven by twitch-masters Ninja Theory. Otherwise, we have some releases filling out the 3DS and WiiU libraries (including the bizarre Tokyo Crash Mob, a game of “pedestrian-tossing pandemonium”) and Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch arriving on the PlayStation 3, the Level 5-developed JRPG animated by Studio Ghibli.
As an aside, would any of our readers be interested in a list highlighting PlayStation Plus Instant Games for European and USA subscribers? I picked up an American sub in December and have since downloaded and played inFamous 2, Retro City Rampage, Double Dragon: Neon and more. Let me know in the comments!
