From the smallest Nintendo DS game to the largest AAA Xbox 360 title. You can vote for all your favourite games at the 28th Annual Golden Joystick Awards.
The Golden Joystick Awards is different from the other videogame award events because it’s voted for by the people whose opinions actually give a damn – the gaming public. Us, yes us, the awesome amazing us. These votes aren’t influenced by panels of expert judges or small gatherings of very cute wide eyed kittens. It’s up to us gamers to make a decision to vote for the games that we love the most and lead them into viiiiictory!!
The shortlist voting is now open. There are 16 categories ranging from, Action Game of the Year and Soundtrack of the Year to the Ultimate Game of the Year and you get to choose from a wide selection of very fab games. One of which got my vote straight away (…I did it for you Alistair).
Also this year, three of the biggest names in the racing games world are battling it out for the Racing Game of the Year. Forza MotorSport 3, Need for Speed: Shift and Colin McRae: Dirt 2 race together in one of the most closely fought categories since The Cheeky Girls fought for Lembit Öpik’s love… what was with that anyway?
It’s very easy to vote – all you have to do is go to the website and press the big blue button that says VOTE NOW. Couldn’t be more obvious and bluer than that!
