Preparations for (Guild) War

A war is coming, or to be more specific, war is coming back. I was there when this first started. I stood side by side with my friends and family against the vicious Charr, against their Searing. We were barely trained and poorly equipped, we were unfamiliar with the powers that swelled within us.

We failed, we couldn’t stop The Searing.

We fought on, we fought back. We took back our lands, discovered new ones and grew more powerful with every mission. I won’t soon forget my time as the Ranger named Flare Brightbow…

…but his time has passed, it’s been 250 long years and, as I said, there is a new war to prepare for.
To fight a war you need weapons and I fear Flare’s Sundering Half Moon Bow of Markmanship will not have aged well. Time to forge a new weapon then, alas my days of forging are over so my newest weapon has been purchaced ready made and ready for battle. Ready for the new war.

Intel Core i5 760 Quad Core CPU
Asus P7H55-M Intel H55 Motherboard
Corsair 4096MB 1600MHz DDR3 Memory
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB Hard Drive
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 768MB GDDR5 Graphics Card
Antec 300 Gaming Case
OCZ StealthXstream 700W Gaming Power Supply

That should do the job nicely, now we play the waiting game…

I LOVED the first Guild Wars. I hope they make the sequel Mac compatible as soon as possible as I have completely moved over in the past few years.
