Heeeyaaah ladies and would ya look at that fine specimen of yellow otherwise known as the sun. It’s another fine and dandy day down here in the Dustbowl and those of us at Reliable Excavation Demolition (Team Red to the likes of you) are having a yeehaaw’ing good time keeping the Builders League United (that’ll be Team Blue to those of you who ain’t too sharp) at bay.
We had a pretty torrid weekend, by which I mean Blue had a pretty torrid weekend. Just remember bub, that when the Red controls the Dustbowl you better be hoping you don’t find yourself wearing Blue.
There just ain’t no sweeter sound than that of my Sentry, model v2.1 serial no. 24724 taking aim and letting loose as it hails bullets and thunders rockets.
I tell them don’t touch that darn thing, but will they listen? You can bet your bottom dollar they don’t! Well I’m done playing games with them boys. You hearing me Blue, you ladies shoulda bought some menfolk with ya, these here points are ours now!
O’course there won’t be any winning without a solid team infrastructure and that’s just what we got. Why it was only yesterday that one of our Medic’s kept me alive while under heavy fire.
Keep me alive doc, and I’ll keep ma sentry alive and kicking. It be a win win situation and then once it’s quietened down, we just need to sit back and watch. It ain’t all rosy sweet cheeks though, and you only got to take a glance at a Spy to know he be thinking of a way to backstab and double cross every last one of us.
Let me tell ya something for nothing, there won’t be any Spy ‘sapping mah sentry while I’m on watch, it’ll take more than a fancy pants disguise to hide yourself from someone whose mind is so attuned to the likes of your philosophy.
Y’all just take these here scribbles as words of wisdom and just ya remember buddy that I’m an Engineer, that means I solve problems, fr’instance, how am I going to stop some big mean mother hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The solution, I use a gun, and if that don’t work… use more guns. You’d best hope that we don’t end up pointed at you!
Well as they say in these here parts, good night Irene and see you in the Dustbowl!
