Ditto... SF4 is killing me like that. It's the only game I've come across so far that just doesn't really support us SD gamers...

I had this problem with Oblivion on a standard 32" CRT television, so I was overjoyed the first time I plugged it in to a 1080p res TV and was actually able to KNOW what I was using. I never played Two Worlds on anything smaller than 7ft across but I would have to agree that the text would have been way too small on a regular TV.

Perhaps games designers presume that everyone is fanatical enough about gaming that they'd forego food and clothing for several months in order to buy an HDTV... or perhaps they presume that we're all on the same salaries as theirs :)

This was the reason I stopped at the start of Two Worlds, I simply could not read the text on screen. It also effects me on monday nights during GTA night as I can't clearly see the waypoint lines on the road because it's just too dark.

I will get me a HDTV when I stop being lazy and clear the spare room and sort my main room out. Until then, I will continue to stumble my way through standard def.
