Ah, how things have turned. Recently I've been breaking old habits and actually finishing games...which I've rarely done in years. I usually only get about a third of the way into a game before the next shiny one appears and I'm lured away.

However, recently I've completed Tomb Raider Underworld, Dead Space, Gears 2 and am well on the way with Prince of Persia. Now you're not completing games! What next, my gamer score beats yours?

Okay, maybe not - LOL.

Agreed. I have so many games deserving of attention, that when I found myself automatically surfing the net in search of bargains, I stopped myself. Not only do I have a stack of 360 games which either are half played or still in their wrappers, but a ton of PC and retro games which are laying untouched. Not everything to come out of the big crunch has ben bad then :D

Hear Hear! I have been having much the same thoughts of late. I am a compulsive Magpie by nature when it comes to games usually, and because of this I have a huge pile of unfinished pile of games. However, a combination of the credit crunch, the fact that I work in the mortgage industry and the fact that I am supposed to be saving money to finally make an honest woman of MrsG means that I do not have the budget to continue with this habit.

Yet I do not feel resentful about this restraint on my wallet, rather I feel grateful as it means that I too now have to play the games that I have, getting the maximum enjoyment from each one. If this carries on much longer, I will be in the (for me) uniquie position of actually having played to completion all of the decent games that up until now have stared accusingly at me from the shelf as I played the first few hours of the next new shiny thing. Its all good people, its all good.
