GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR EXCLUSIVE AT VIDEO GAMES LIVE 2008
Royal Festival Hall, Friday 24th October, 4pm & 8pm
Hands on exclusive of new game plus chance to rock out on stage!
13th October 2008: Guitar Hero World Tour will be available for the first time for hands-on play at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Friday 24th October as part of the pre-show festival for this year’s Video Games Live concerts.
As well as this World Tour hands-on exclusive, as part of the Video Games Live pre-show festival at the Southbank there is also an unprecedented Guitar Hero: Aerosmith competition. One plucky rocker will win the chance to demonstrate their skills in front of the full Video Games Live Festival Hall crowd.
Guitar Hero World Tour will be available on the 26th October 2008 on PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360. This version of the game will be the first to feature drum and microphone controllers for percussion and vocal parts and will allow users to create new songs, including drums, rhythm guitar, lead guitar and bass guitar. Players can share their performances by uploading and sharing their songs as well as downloading others’ songs.
Video Games Live kicks off this year’s London Games Festival, and is a spectacular orchestral performance of the finest video game compositions, from Mario to Halo to World of Warcraft. With the global tour currently in its fourth year, Video Games Live has confirmed its rightful place as the largest and most successful video game concert in the world, and has already been performed around the globe to over 250,000 people. Every show the audience is taken on a breathtaking journey where every sense is bombarded with spectacular visuals, elaborate choreographed lighting effects and sensational music.
