Ready Up @ i33

Kirsten wrote this at 9:41 am:
Some of the Ready Up crew recently attended i33 over the Easter weekend. The iSeries is the biggest LAN party in the UK. With 1500 people attending the event Ready Up thought we’d take some time to explore just what goes on at these things. It’s easy, if you’ve never been to a LAN, to assume that only the very hardest core PC gamers will really feel at home. Some of the Ready Up folks though, including myself, have been to a few iSeries events in the past and know that there’s more to it than that. Armed with an HD camcorder we ran around for a few days filming everything we could to give others a chance to see just what fun it is. Enjoy the video!
Ready Up will continue to report on the UK gaming scene in videos over the coming months. Keep an eye out on site for more events coverage!

Ooh - fantastic re-edit of the video, folks - that certainly shows what ready-up.net is all about.

Didn’t realise you were gonna stick in Jay and I playing guitar. How bad do those 3D glasses look but they WERE necessary to play the game!

:P Wish I couldve joined in the fun there. Trouble is I just seem to live too far away from anything like this :(
Seems much fun though :)
Oh and my Xbox is now on live… Thank GOD! XD I thought the thing would never get on

There’s nothing wrong with those 3D glasses; playing Guitar Hero in three dimensions is well worth the fashion risk!

I thought the glasses looked cool, very Roy Orbison. Thanks for the compliments. it was actually quite fun to edit.

Watching others play without the glasses really did screw your eyes up - putting them on and then standing with the screens at the right angle made ALOT of difference - it was quite good for a 3-D effect - I quite enjoyed it :) It’s a shame Zoey and I couldn’t get that Lacuna Coil song right though… :(

Hope to see you guys again at the next event, “i34″ which will be held in Stoneleigh Park!
